FAQ (journalists)
Short, quotable answers.
What is Poulpigo?
Poulpigo is a product-oriented, all-in-one travel planner: map itinerary, stopovers, reservations and sharing all in one place. The aim is to reduce friction (scattered e-mails, screenshots, multiple tabs) and make travel planning more reliable (dates, confirmations, stage logic).
Who is the tool for?
Autonomous travelers (solo, duo, groups) who organize their own trips and want a cleaner workflow: structure the trip, centralize proof of reservation, and share a single, up-to-date plan without copying and pasting between apps.
What makes Poulpigo different from Wanderlog, TripIt or Google Docs?
Wanderlog is excellent for building an itinerary and ideas on a map, but is not designed as a booking and document hub. TripIt automates some of the email aggregation, but often remains an “itinerary” view without such flexible production/editing logic. Google Docs/Sheets require a lot of manual manipulation. Poulpigo stands out for its “centralization + reliability” approach: a clear timeline, structured steps, a single space for booking and sharing, with a logic designed to limit date and coordination errors (especially in duo/group situations).
What's “innovative” about this approach?
The product is designed as a work interface: fewer doubts, more fluidity in the creation and sharing process. You don't have to leave the platform, even to make reservations. In concrete terms: a single information base, a standardized step-by-step format, and simple sharing so that everyone follows the same version. The result: less wasted time, fewer oversights, fewer errors, and more robust preparation.
What is the business model?
The tool is free to use. You only pay for your trip at the time of booking.
